The Hospital Manager is the permanent record for a patient. This area of the application is where you can find all details about a patient, from its description, species, and age, to images, a record of surgeries, treatments and the patient's movement around the shelter.
The home screen shows the image gallery, patient status details, patient details, treatment area history and surgery details. Also displayed is the patient header which shows the profile picture of the animal, the tag number, current area, and known as name. The known as name can be used for owned patients that have a name or for residents/long term patients that have been given names.
Gallery
The gallery displays images of the patient, the gallery can also display videos too. Images and videos can be uploaded from your device, or taken directly via Apoms if you are on a mobile device.

Click this icon to display the gallery for a patient.
New media
User can upload or capture new media for a patient by clicking the add image button. Users will then have the ability to upload a new image. Other details can also bee added too, such as:
date and time of the image
whether this image is the primary image (this will end up as a the profile picture),
Tags. Tags help to define what is in the image, wounds, animal colour, size, age etc. are all examples of tags that users can add.
Comments allow users to communicate with one another in a centralised and safe way, making sure that comments never get lost and are always easy to find.
Treatment area history
This section tracks the patient as they move around the shelter. They may be admitted to one area and then be shifted multiple times as their healing progresses. This section shows the date the patient moved into the area, the area name, whether the animal was admitted or moved in, and the total number of days spent in area.Records can be added to this table by shifting the patient in the Treatment List
Surgery details
Here you can see the details of surgeries underwent by the patient.
To add a new surgery click the round blue/grey add surgery button . Here the user will be able to select the surgery type, surgery date, surgeon, site (this is where the surgery took place), minutes under anesthesia and other details of the surgery.
Surgeries can be edited by clicking the pencil icon of the surgery you would like to edit.
The emergency details tab contains a subset of the information contained for the patient in the Emergency Register. This page exists to prevent users from having to search the Emergency Register to see details of the patient's rescue and release.
Here you can see the details of treatments. Treatments can be added from here in the Hospital Manager or from within the Treatment Lists too.
Here users can add details of interactions caller(s) had with the shelter. There are a number of interactions types (Update call, visit, died call) and a number of interaction outcomes (positive outcome, negative outcome. These make it possible to track sentiment for the shelter amongst members of the community, so that the services of the shelter and its public perception can be managed ensuring the best possible outcome for patients and members of the community alike.
The outcome details of the patient relates to information taken after the patient has finished its treatment. When the treatment is finished the below details are taken:
The dates of the first and second Megavac vaccinations
The details of antibiotics given to the patient
The reason, if any, the patient went to isolation.
Here cruelty officers can enter the details of cruelty cases against the patient in order to build a case potentially for lodging complaints with the police.
Here the details of changes to the patient can be tracked in order to see who made changes to the patient. This is used to track mistakes or find details of dates changes were made.
