The vehicle list is the entry point for vehicles details in Apoms. This is where all vehicles owned by the organisation can be tracked. Future versions may have the ability to enter mileage detail etc.
Here users can enter a vehicle image, the registration and type of vehicle as well as the minimum and maximum rescuer capacity.
The following details are recorded for vehicles:
Vehicle image: You can upload an image of the vehicle, this is the profile image that will be seen in other areas of Apoms, such as the vehicle staff assigner
Registration number (optional): You can add the registration number of the vehicle here
Vehicle number: This is the identifier for the vehicle, or how you would refer to it in the shelter if you were asking someone else where it was parked 'Where is Van 4?' for instance.
Vehicle type: Here you can select van, truck, cow truck, or two wheeler
Small/large animal capacity: This is the number of small and large animals the vehicle can handle. This is useful when assigning rescues or releases in the Outstanding Case Board
Min/Max rescuer capacity: This determines the minimum number of rescuers needed to operate the vehicle, it may not be possible to operate a cow truck without 2 people for instance, so here you can set the minimum capacity to 2. Also, the maximum capacity of the vehicle can be entered here, for instance if a cow truck can seat 7, you can enter 7 as the max capacity. If the minimum capacity of a vehicle is set to 2 and the maximum capacity is 7, then 2 staff will be required when assigning a shift and the other 5 will be optional.
Colour: This will be used in the Outstanding Case Board/Map to distinguish quickly between the vehicles.
StreetTreat vehicle: This setting determines whether StreetTreat cases can be assigned to this vehicle.
StreetTreat default: This setting determines which vehicle StreetTreat cases will be assigned to by default. This is where a case is added to the Emergency Register with an outcome of Street treatment approved by ST manager.
